Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people.Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two.
With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights.
MY HEART. MY MIND. How am I even alive after reading this book? It takes me so so so long to read these books, but I spent two whole days buried in this book until I was finished. And I am still freaking out.
After surviving Amarantha, Feyre has finally returned to the Spring Court. Life as a High Fae with her love, though, isn't all rainbows and sunshine and Feyre finds herself feeling trapped and alone. Not to mention Feyre still has to uphold her bargain with Rhysand, high lord of the Night Court. Feyre falls head first into the dangerous world of the Fae and finds that the key to all of their problems could lie in her learning to control her powers. But will she be allowed to before she loses herself in her unending grief and sorrow?
HOLY. $*@(#. Seriously? I mean, seriously? I in no way want to ruin this book for anyone, so I'm not going to say too much. But I freaking loved this book. Seriously, it's by far my favorite read of 2016 so far. And I can't see anything topping this. While ACOTAR started off slow and was harder to get into, I was a reading demon with this book and did not want to put it down for anything. There are 600 glorious pages of romance, danger, mystery, and, um, did I mention romance? Because there's plenty of that and my heart was happy.
One of the things I loved most about this book was the character development. All of the character were purposefully developed throughout the first two books of this series and you really get to see deep into who they are. Yes, some characters greatly changed in this book, but that change was only a natural repercussion of what those characters had gone through. While some characters acted COMPLETELY STUPID at the end of the book and there was an insane cliffhanger that left me yelling for my sister so that I could rant to her (she's already read this book), I loved every second of this story.
Need I say more? If you haven't read this series yet, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?! This book is so unique and so swoon-worthy and I don't know what I'm going to do until the third book comes out. Oh, and might I add that I loved Rhys from book one? Because I loved him from the start. And he's mine ;)

I felt the same way about this book! I absolutely loved it! Honestly, it's in my top 10 favorite books of all time. I've already read it twice just because I couldn't get enough of how amazing it is. I'm so excited for book 3!
