Top Ten Tuesday: Books On My Winter TBR


This is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish where each week bloggers share a list of books for the prompt given. So hopefully I'll have a new list to share with you all each week!

This Week's Topic: Top Ten Books On My Winter TBR

You guys have no idea how excited I am to read the books on my winter TBR list. I have SIX WHOLE WEEKS of winter break. My college decided to extend break by two weeks to fit in a "J-Term" where people can take classes…like I want to take classes over break! So I'm left with two weeks at home with nothing to do but read! Woo hoo! Anyways, I have a ton of time to read the books that have been on my TBR list for far too long and I absolutely can't wait. Here are the books I plan on knocking out this winter!


1. Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
2. Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell
3. Insurgent by Veronica Roth


4. The Umbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
5. Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan
6. Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Book Store by Robin Sloan


7. Beautiful Ruins by Jess Walter
8. Where'd You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple
9. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte


10. Once Upon a Tower by Eloisa James

    Ohh I love the Infernal Devices series! I need to read Allegiant this winter. I really should re-read The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, I remember really enjoying the book and I want to continue the series. Happy Reading :)

    I love the Infernal Devices, they are such great books. Have you read her other series, The Mortal Instruments? And I really like the Mara Dyer series; I can't believe the third book is coming out in a few months! Great list :)

    Awesome list -- I also want read Beautiful Ruins and I need to read Allegiant -- Insurgent really disappointed me after Divergent but I think I need to re-read the entire series

    Oooh nice! I enjoyed Insurgent! Unlike a few others, I didn't hate the ending of Allegiant. There were emotions for sure, but never hate. Insurgent was definitely an emotional ride as well! Hope you enjoy all these and yay for extended break!! Who goes to school during break anyway...so weird...it's right up there with summer school! Enjoy your break!!

    I am going to read the second Mara Dyer book (if my library ever gets it in... I had to order through ILL). I really liked the first one and hope you do too!! Will Grayson is definitely a memorable book. Just wait until you meet Tiny! Cool list :)

    Great list! Just finished Mr. Penembrum's 24 hour book store. I'm interested in what you think! Also, read Jane Eyre! I finally read it this year and wish I had read it sooner!

    Oh Goodness, Clockwork Angel! That whole series will just ruin your life. I couldn't decide who I wanted to ship Tessa & Jem or Tessa & Will! Let me know how you like it.
