Summary: Montana real estate agent Quint McCoy will tell you that the most important thing is location, location, location. It's a lesson he learns all too well when he goes incommunicado for a four-week fishing trip to Alaska. While he's away, his mother Molly turns his office into the pie shop she has always dreamed of, Big Sky Pie. But that's not the only surprise in store for him.

On her way out of town, Callee McCoy only wants to say a fond farewell to her beloved mother-in-law. But Molly soon persuades Callee to stay and lend a hand at the new shop, even if it means heating up the kitchen with her soon-to-be ex. As Callee and Quint rediscover their recipe for love, they realize that some couples are so sinfully good together that one delectable taste is never enough . . .

Review: As a fan of baking, I love books that revolve around the main character either baking or working at a bakery. On the other hand, I'm not normally a fan of the plot revolving around couples who are already married and are working on their problems, but I thought Callie and Quint's story sounded too good to pass up.

After his father died, Quint's entire world fell apart. He grew further from his wife and disappeared on a fishing trip for four weeks with no phone, cut off from the world. So when he returns home, the last thing he expects is to find his mother took over his entire real estate office to build her pie shop. Callee is ready to move on with her life and back to Seattle, but when Quint's mother has a heart attack, Quint and Callee are thrown together to try to save the pie shop that hasn't even opened yet. Can they fix their marriage or is being forced to work together a recipe for disaster?

There's just something about simple, sweet romances that get me every time. I absolutely loved Delectable and how cute their lives and story was. I mean, who wouldn't want to save a pie shop? I really loved Callee's character and how insecure she was about something as simple as her baking skills. Haha, she was terrified of even trying to bake because she was so scared of failure, even though she wanted to be good at it so badly. Also, I thought that Quint's little secret about baking was super cute. Callee is definitely right, there's just something about a man who can bake…

While Quint definitely seemed like a jerk in the beginning when he had just abandoned Callee and his life when his dad died, I do understand how hard it was for him to deal with such a devastating loss. It was sad, though, how he had completely ignored how Callee would have felt during that time. That being said, I really liked how Callee didn't just take Quint back the moment he showed up, but rather made him really work to earn any trust back from her. What he did broke her heart and did not deserve forgiveness right away. Quint and Callee had to work for their relationship and try to figure out how to make it better than what it was before. Of course, you can't fix a relationship without the sweet mother doing some plotting of her own!

Overall, Delectable is just like a cherry pie: sweet and impossible to put down after one bite. I finished this book in one day and couldn't wait for more. Though this is my first book by Adrianne Lee, I can't wait to pick up more of her books and devour the sweet stories inside!
