Shelf Candy (28)

Shelf Candy is a meme hosted by Five Alarm Book Reviews and every Saturday, bloggers choose a book whose cover really catches their eye. I know you're not supposed to judge a book by it's cover, but I always do, so I'm choosing books whose cover alone made me pick it up. So I hope you enjoy my shelf candy!

I've never actually read anything from this author, but I saw the cover reveal on Mystifying Paranormal Reviews and loved it! There have been mixed reviews about the cover, but in my opinion, it's awesome! I love their outfits and how kick-butt they look. I'm definitely going to pick up the first two books of this series so that I can read this one. What do you think? You like the models or think they're too posed? I think this cover is perfect for the summary, but that's just my opinion! Is this cover look really cool to anyone else? Or am I the only one who can't get over how great it looks? Let me know!

  1. I love the steampunkish, piratey look. This is my first look at it. I haven't read anything by this author either, but I will now be on the lookout.

  2. Hi, Jessica! Oh, I DEFINITELY LOVE this cover!! I love the costumes, and the guy looks like such a cool dude! The models are a great matched pair, and the cover has a wonderful period look to it. I'm guessing this is a Steampunk novel, because of the goggles on her head. They don't quite fit in with the historical period the girl's costume represents.

All in all, this is a GREAT cover choice, and I'm going right on over to Goodreads to check out this novel!!

Thanks for featuring this book! Come on over and take a look at my shelf candy! : )
