I've been at school for about a month since spring break, so when I came home for Easter I had two stacks of books waiting for me! Woo too! I have no idea how I'm going to read all of them, but I'll make it work because the books I got are amazing! Here they all are from the front :)

 

I know it's a lot, but remember it's from an entire month! I'm so excited for practically every single book that I don't even know when to start! I'm going to be reading like CRAZY the next month to try and read all of these! Check back for reviews of the books! I'll try to read as fast as I can :)

I got these books to review and I instantly fell in love with their covers! They're just so fun and really capture the attitude of the books. The books are paranormal romance with a little bit of humor thrown in, and I definitely get that fun vibe from them. And the colors are awesome! I'm all about color, so I love how such bright colors are used in the titles that match the pictures so well. Just looking at them makes me want to go pick up the next one right now! You should definitely try these books out if you have the chance because not only are the covers great, the stories are great as well!

Question: Have you ever bought a book BECAUSE of a bad review? 

Answer: I actually have not. I normally don't buy a book because of the reviews. If it looks good, I'll buy it. Book buying for me usually entails me just going to the bookstore and seeing what catches my eye, not what has caught other people's eyes. Half Price Books is my FAVORITE store because I always find awesome books in the clearance section that I totally wasn't expecting, so I always leave the store feeling happy. What about you guys? Have you ever bought a book because you knew others didn't like it? 

Book Review: Fateful by Claudia Gray

Review: I have been obsessed with the Titanic ever since elementary school when I would do every single project on the ship, so I was so excited when I picked this up from the library. A paranormal Titanic romance? What could be better? And as I got into the story, I knew I was about to fall in love with the unsinkable ship all over again! 

This time period is so amazing; with the rich people who have elegant dresses and servants waiting on them hand and foot. I loved how this book was told through the view point of Tess, who's a servant to a high-class family who's almost broke but trying to stay in the upper levels of society. I loved Tess from the start and wanted her to find her dreams once she reached America. Bet she didn't except to fall in love with a handsome, dashing werewolf! 

The paranormal element to this made Fateful so unique and addicting that I hated having to put this book down to go to class. Alec, the werewolf, changes every single night against his will and only the big bad werewolves of the Brotherhood hold the power to give Alec the ability to control his changes. There is a suspenseful aspect added onto the paranormal abilities of Alec that make this book heart pumping and just plain awesome. 

One of the best parts of this book, though, was the romance. Not only was there romance between Alec and Tess, but there were also two or three other couples who found romance aboard the Titanic. I loved this part because, as a HUGE fan of romance, I love seeing so many people find that one person that makes life worth living for. 

So basically this book was awesome. There were so many emotions with Tess before and during the sinking of the Titanic and my eyes were glued to the pages. If you're a YA paranormal fan, or even a YA romance fan, pick up this book! You won't want to put it down!

I seriously cannot wait for this one. I love any modern retellings of classics, and Romeo and Juliet? One of my favorite tragic love stories ever! Haha, but seriously. This sounds so good! Who would have thought to tell the story from Rosaline's side? I'm so excited to see how it goes! And I absolutely love the cover. You know what the most exciting part is? I'm getting an ARC of this book! Ahhhhh I was so excited when the publisher contacted me that I literally got up and did a little jig. Then, I figured out that the screenwriters for 500 Days of Summer are the screenwriters for the movie of this book! And Lily Collins might play the lead role! So I'm even MORE excited (if that's even possible) to read a copy of this book! Hopefully my copy comes soon!!! I'm not sure how much longer I can wait!

From the Library

I was SO excited when I saw this at the local library at school. At home, I'm number 150 on the waiting list while when I was looking around at the other library, there were TWO copies sitting on the shelf! Even though I barely have time to read any more libraries books, I knew I had to make room. I can't wait to see how Sophie Kinsella's new book turns out!

I'm going home for Easter next week and I know I have TONS of good books waiting for me, so next week's IMM is going to be so awesome. So make sure to check back next week for the real goodies I get!
