Waiting on Wednesday (18)

This is a meme hosted by Breaking the Spine where every Wednesday bloggers highlight a book that they are eagerly anticipating the release of!

The Probability of Miracles
By Wendy Wunder
Release Date: December 8th
Summary: Dry, sarcastic, sixteen-year-old Cam Cooper has spent the last seven years in and out hospitals. The last thing she wants to do in the short life she has left is move 1,500 miles away to Promise, Maine - a place known for the miraculous events that occur there. But it's undeniable that strange things happen in Promise: everlasting sunsets; purple dandelions; flamingoes in the frigid Atlantic; an elusive boy named Asher; and finally, a mysterious envelope containing a list of things for Cam to do before she dies. As Cam checks each item off the list, she finally learns to believe - in love, in herself, and even in miracles.

A debut novel from an immensely talented new writer, The Probability of Miracles crackles with wit, romance and humor and will leave readers laughing and crying with each turn of the page.

I saw this book a couple of weeks ago on someone else's WoW and knew I had to feature it for my own. This one sounds SO good. I'm really interested to figure out why Cam has been in the hospital a majority of her life and how long she really has to live. What I'm really interested in too is Asher, first of all because I LOVE that name, and second of all because what's a good book without a little romance? Books about bucket lists are always fun to read, so I hope this one is too! And the cover is so pretty with the pink surrounding the feather shape over her face. It's just so dreamy, which seems to capture this new place Cam is moving to where, hopefully, a miracle will find it's place in her life. Can't wait for this to come out :)
