This is a meme hosted every Friday by Parajunkee, where book bloggers answer a question each week and check out how others answered it. It's a cool way for bloggers and viewers to connect and learn more about each other!
Question: Is there a song that reminds you of a book? Or vice versa? What is the song and the book?
Answer:
It's not necessarily the book itself, but for some reason every time I see the cover of Where I Belong by Gwendolyn Healsley, I want to jump up and starting dancing around to You Belong With Me by Taylor Swift. It's got the whole country vibe going on and the romance aspect is absolutely perfect.
Hopping through. You Belong With Me is still my fav Taylor song. I love the video.

I haven't read that one yet, but your right the cover does have this country vibe going on. Also I love Taylor Swift, I don't care how Cliche it is or how little girl it is. I love her songs.

That's probably the only Taylor swift song I like, I'm not a huge fan of her work.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read that book but I can see by the cover why you may think of Taylor by reading that book.

Haven't read the book, but love the song! I could see it working for a YA contemporary romance. Old follower.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!
I've not read the book, but oh yeah, I think that's a great song based on the cover. That's such a fun song, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteThere are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game. Both boys and girls feel the impact of just a moment’s pleasure, for the rest of their lives.
