Top Ten Tuesday: Books I'd Love to Read With My Book Club

This is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish where each week bloggers share a list of books for the prompt given. So hopefully I'll have a new list to share with you all each week!

This Week's Topic: Top Ten Books I'd Love to Read With My Book Club

I am actually in two book clubs now, one with some students at the school I am student teaching at and my Jane Austen Book Club at college that I'm still attending while student teaching. Since we pretty much always just read classics for the Jane Austen Book Club, here are some YA books I would love to read with my students at school!

1. The Duff by Kody Keplinger
2. Legend by Marie Lu
3, Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo

4. Bloodlines by Richelle Mead
5. I Was Here by Gayle Forman
6. Jackaby by William Ritter

7. The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey
8. Winger by Andrew Smith
9. Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas

10. The Darkest Minds by Aexandra Bracken

  1. I'm reading I Was Here right now and it would definitely be great for a book club. I kind of wish I had included it on my list. Even though The 5th Wave is about an alien invasion that destroys the world, I think it would make a great book club pick. There's a lot to discuss about humanity and how to survive after all is lost. Winger and The Duff are great choices! Awesome list!

  2. A bunch of these are already on my TBR list, but I think The Duff looks really interesting. It would probably make for an interesting discussion. Great list!

  3. Throne of Glass definitely! That one would be a lot of fun! Bloodlines and The Duff would be awesome too!
I really want to read I Was Here, I think that that would be a good one to talk about in a book club. Great list :-)

  4. A bunch of books are on here that I haven't yet read but am eager to try! I binge read the Bloodlines series last year and enjoyed every minute of it. I think some of the conflicts that Sydney struggles with would make for interesting discussions.
