Follow My Book Blog Friday (122)

This is a meme hosted every Friday by Parajunkee, where book bloggers answer a question each week and check out how others answered it. It's a cool way for bloggers and viewers to connect and learn more about each other!

Question: If you could read a book for the "first time"again, which book would it be? Why?

Answer: Oh boy. Reading a book for the first time is such an amazing experience, but it's also an experience that can only happen once. If I had the chance to experience a book all over again, not knowing at all what is going to happen on the next page, or every page after that, I would love to be able to read

These are some of my favorite books ever, and nothing can compare to the experience of reading them for the first time. I think it would be cool, also, to have the chance of reading some of these without having ANY idea how the ending would turn out. If I hadn't heard so much about Pride and Prejudice and known that Mr. Darcy would end up being the one for Elizabeth, would I have read it differently? These books are from such an array of genres, because they are all such different reads that gave me such different experiences while reading them. I remember the butterflies I felt while reading Perfect Chemistry and The Boyfriend League, but also the anxiety/nerves I felt while reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and City of Bones. If only I could turn back time and reread them all for the first time again. Nothing can even compare to the experience of reading one of your all-time favorite books for the very first time.
