Stacking the Shelves (86)

Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews where bloggers share what they got throughout the week!

From Library Sale

I absolutely LOVE library sales. Seriously, what's better than books that are $1 or less? The cool thing about the one I want to was that there were a lot of old books. The Complete Works of William Shakespeare is from 1973 and was only $1! The rest were 50 cents, so all of this only cost me $3. The edition of Lolita is from 1959 and the edition of The Secret Agent is from 1953. The Iron Duke and Everything is Illuminated aren't nearly as old, but those two are books I've been dying to read. I'd say it was definitely a successful library sale :)

That's it for me! What did you all add to your shelves this week?

  1. Interesting selection. Lots of classics. The Iron Duke is a very good steampunk. I have met Meljean and she is awesome in person.]

  2. Library sales are the best! I've been meaning to read Lolita for the longest time, I hope to finally get to it this year.

  3. That's awesome!! What an amazing deal! I hope you enjoy all of your new books.

  4. I've never read an of these! But I know all about Lolita (despite not reading it), thanks to Michelle Hodkin/Mara Dyer :D

    Have a fabulous weekend!

  5. Nice library sale! I red the Jonathan Safran Foer a few years ago for reading group. We also hired the DVD and that clarified things in the book for me.

  6. Love library sales! The Iron Duke is so good...I hope you enjoy it. Happy reading!

  7. Great haul! I hope you enjoy them.
