This is a meme hosted every Friday by Parajunkee, where book bloggers answer a question each week and check out how others answered it. It's a cool way for bloggers and viewers to connect and learn more about each other!
Question: If you could "unread" a book, which one would it be? Is it because you want to start over and experience it again for the first time? Or was it THAT bad?
Answer:
I know, I know, another Harry Potter answer. But it's the only book I could think of! When I first read it, I couldn't believe everything that was happening and I never knew what was going to happen next. Who was going to do? How were they going to die? What would happen to Harry? There was so much suspense and emotion that I was so sad when it was over. So I would love to be able to read this all over again for the first time. Very few books can make me feel that way, so I wish I could experience that emotion again!
It was the first one I could think of to be honest, but then I found loads others so I decided to choose one I wish i never read

it's a good choice. I remember reading all of HP books before the last movie came out and still loved all of it! It was almost like unreading and rereading it again because i haven't read the 1st few ones in a long time! Old follower!

I would love to reread Harry Potter as a teenager, so that I had the experience of living it with him at the same age. I was in my 20s when the books came out, but I'd love to know what it was like to read it as a teen. I'm sure the experience would be different than as an adult!

Harry Potter's a popular choice for a reason. I've reread the whole series, like, three times. Reading it fresh again would be amazing! (BTW, your blog is so interesting, with all those pictures and quotes along the sides. I can't help sitting here and trying to read them all, haha.) ;D

ReplyDeleteI like your reasoning for wanting to re-read this particular Harry Potter book. Reading it was such an amazing experience, and I also wish I could do it all over again. Now following on Twitter. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the Harry Potter books, but I haven't read the last three yet. I'm way behind for some reason. I haven't went ot see the last three movies either. I want to read the books first.
