Follow My Book Blog (93)

Question: What is your preferred reading format? Hardcover, ebooks, paperback, ect?

While I own a Nook and absolutely love it, there's just nothing like the feeling of being surrounded by paperbacks. I love the smell of books and being able to hold the actual book in your hand as you make your way through the pages. Looking at my bookshelves makes me so happy because my books are my babies and I love every single one of them. I prefer paperbacks to hardbacks because they take up less room in my purse and I'm much less afraid of ruining the cover of a paperback than a hardback. There's nothing like snuggling up with my favorite worn-out paperback after a long day to make me feel happy :)

    I like 'real' books as in paper format. I read kindle and also on the iPad but you can't beat the feel and smell of a 'paper' book.

    Nice way of showing it! I love me a real book too! I use a kindle occasionally for some self published books, novellas, and earcs, but otherwise the majority of my books are the real deal!

    Yes! You just can't replace the feeling of being surrounded by books and knowing they are all yours. Nothing can replace that.

    Yay for paperback! I really love them too, and the smell and feel of them. I guess I'll only feel complete actually holding a copy of my book. Nice post! New follower :)
