Review: Who knew that inside an old, bald guy could be a young, cute, charismatic man that can make every girl swoon? Professor X's 24 year-old self, played by James McAvoy, is one of the may reasons why I absolutely loved this movie. Though I'm not a fan of war-related movies (seeing as this movie starts off in WWII and ends with the Cuban Missile Crisis), this new X-Men is far from the usual boring war film. Every moment has action and is going somewhere; there is never a dull moment. Also, I loved how I got to see how some of the characters in the past movies got to be how they are now, like Mystique and Magneto. The new mutants were very cool and I was constantly in awe of the possibilities of powers someone could have. Also, the romances were very adorable, but they didn't overpower the real purpose and plot of the movie, which revolved around battles and the struggle between humans and mutants. X-Men: First Class had so many ups that it was impossible to forget even after the movie was over. It is definitely worth being deemed one of my favorites! This movie is perfect for every X-Men lover and even non-lovers of the world, so go out and see it right now! You won't regret it one bit!

Movie Review: X-Men: First Class
Summary: Set in 1962, Professor X, Magneto, and many other mutants are young and on their own to cope with their strange abilities. These two young men come together, creating a very strong friendship that links them like brothers. They bring other mutants, some of whom we see in the earlier movies, together to stop the vicious attack of the former Nazi doctor, who happens to be a mutant himself. This prequel opens up answers to many mysteries of the war between Magneto and Professor X, along with how the X-Men really came to be.
