deliver a “powerfully written contemporary love story…”*
Former tennis player Easton Bradbury is trying to be the best teacher she can be, trying to reach her bored students, trying to forget her past. What brought her to this stage in her life isn’t important. She can’t let it be. But now one parent-teacher meeting may be her undoing…
Meeting Tyler Marek for the first time makes it easy for Easton to see why his son is having trouble in school. The man knows how to manage businesses and wealth, not a living, breathing teenage boy. Or a young teacher, for that matter, though he tries to. And yet…there is something about him that draws Easton in—a hint of vulnerability, a flash of attraction, a spark that might burn.
Wanting him is taboo. Needing him is undeniable. And his long-awaited touch will weaken Easton’s resolve—and reveal what should stay hidden…

All right, I'm going to keep this short and sweet. I freaking love everything Penelope Douglas writes and this book was no exception. From the moment Tyler and Easton met, I was obsessed with them. There was an undeniable attraction, but when then meet again 6 months later, it made me grin when their lives realigned…with Easton being Tyler's son's History teacher. As a teacher myself, I'm pretty critical of books that are about teachers and I just laughed at the fact that Easton had "planned" lessons for the entire year. But skipping over that ridiculous idea (there's pretty much no way you can have every single lesson plan for the year done by the first day of school, especially as a first year teacher), I loved how Easton was a teacher. Seeing as this book is by Penelope Douglas, there was intense chemistry between out two main characters and things definitely heated up between them. I didn't think that I would like the age gap (Tyler's a bit older…), but I actually didn't mind it! Tyler's character was great and I loved the various relationships in this book. Needless to say, this was another hit from Penelope and every romance fan needs to pick this book up!
