This is a meme hosted every Friday by Parajunkee, where book bloggers answer a question each week and check out how others answered it. It's a cool way for bloggers and viewers to connect and learn more about each other!
Question: Do you read one book at a time or do you switch back and forth between two or more?
Answer: I can only read one normal book at a time, but I will read school books (classics) on the side. The most I ever read at a time is two because I'm usually so caught up in one book I won't want to put it down to start another book. I would get way too confused on what's going on in which book! So I just stick with one and only move onto the next when I'm finished with that one. That system works for me just fine :)
***Don't forget to check out my new Pen Pal program right here!!
Good for you. It's hard for me to keep to only one books because there's so many to read. :)

That's usually how I do it too (though right now I'm switching between whatever and rereading The Hunger Games -- seriously, I can't get enough!)

Happy Friday!
When I was at university, I often had several books going at the same time as well.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Follow Friday. Stop by if you get a chance.
I stick to one book at a time too, much more easy to focus on the story that way!
ReplyDeleteVery similiar here. I mostly read just one book at a time. :)

It's a good system! I usually read one book at a time, but once in awhile I go for more.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

I wish I could keep to one at a time; but I start and then get called away to something and realize there's something else I REALLY want to read and start it. So I may have three or four going at once. (Yep; I don't have a long attention span!)
ReplyDeleteStop by and see my TGIF/Follow Friday!
I agree with you, I tend to read one book at a time as well :)

Oh yay! Another 1 book at a time person!! I'm the same, it's just what I prefer because I love being an absorbed into a world and don't want to have too much of a good thing by multitasking!!
ReplyDeleteReally like that little sign/pic! Gotta find me one of those for my room!!

Thanks for visiting my blog today :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, I can see what you mean by getting caught up in only one book :)
Ya sometimes reading multiple books gets confusing! What classics are you reading for school? Thanks for stopping by my blog!
ReplyDeleteBeing the musltitasker I am, I always try and do various things at the same time.

I agree. When I'm really into a book, the last thing I want to do is put it down to read something else. I get so excited and anxious to see what's going to happen next! :)

Thanks for popping over to my blog today. Nice easy question this week. I think many of us prefer to read one book at a time. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! I agree, it's easier to keep school books separate from the books I choose to read. I get my school books mixed up with each other because of course overlap, though. That's always fun, haha.

If I were to read more than one book I think I'd get them confused too. Thanks for stopping by my FF. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteHi there :) just hopping through. I’m a new follower…
ReplyDeleteI’m a multi-book reader myself, it seems to work :)
Here is my choice...

I agree school books/classics are the only exception :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by the blog! I like getting lost in a book when it's really good. Having a nook don't help me trying to read everything, though. Lol. I think it's Book ADD or something.
ReplyDeleteGreat answer! hehe:)
ReplyDeleteI'm new to FF! I follow:)

I'm the same. I am too focused on one book and the other ends up falling to the side. So, when it's all said and done, it ends up being one book at a time ^_~ Btw, I love the picture at the end of your post!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!

I can usually go two at a time, but I try and keep them in different genres. Also, your blog is so pretty!!
