Waiting On Wednesday (111)

This is a meme hosted by Breaking the Spine where every Wednesday bloggers highlight a book that they are eagerly anticipating the release of!

Pointe
By Brandy Colbert
Release Date: April 10, 2014
Summary: Theo is better now.

She's eating again, dating guys who are almost appropriate, and well on her way to becoming an elite ballet dancer. But when her oldest friend, Donovan, returns home after spending four long years with his kidnapper, Theo starts reliving memories about his abduction—and his abductor.

Donovan isn't talking about what happened, and even though Theo knows she didn't do anything wrong, telling the truth would put everything she's been living for at risk. But keeping quiet might be worse.

-------------------------------------

One look at this cover and I knew I had to read it. Just look at how gorgeous it is! And it's about ballet? Do you have to say anything more? I wonder what Theo had gone through before that she's bounced back so successfully from. And what's Donovan's story? How was he abducted? There's so much to this story that I want to know everything, right now! Guess I'll just have to wait until April finally rolls around...

  2. Whoa. That cover is gorgeous! Though I'm a bit on the edge with the summary. It sounds like heavy drama but also, I'm curious about what Theo's hiding, lol. Thanks for sharing!
