Shelf Candy Saturday (25)

Shelf Candy is a meme hosted by Five Alarm Book Reviews and every Saturday, bloggers choose a book whose cover really catches their eye. I know you're not supposed to judge a book by it's cover, but I always do, so I'm choosing books whose cover alone made me pick it up. So I hope you enjoy my shelf candy!

Now I haven't read A Need So Beautiful, but I have been in love with the cover ever since I've seen it. Then, when I saw the second one, I couldn't get over how gorgeous it was! I love how each cover really embodies the title. The first one is so pretty and light while the other one is darker and more cold. The first one is something that's good while the second one is something that's bad. It's awesome! I'm really interested to see what the next one is going to be (if there is a third one). It also makes me intrigued to read them to figure out what happened to make such a contrast between the two books/covers. Guess I should pick up A Need So Beautiful soon!

  1. These covers are amazing. I haven't had a chance to see the cover to the second book but gah! I haven't read these either but I really need to get around to it. Great pick this week.

  3. I love the contrast in title and them for these books. The lighting is awesome on A Need so Beautiful and the dark hair and pail skin on A Want So Wicked. I am glad that they matched the fond and some of the graphics to keep them looking like they belong together.
I haven't read A need so beautiful yet either. I will have to get to it.
Thank you for sharing your post with us!

  4. These covers are indeed beautiful, but I do prefer the second one. It's just that I'm a big an of blue and purple, which are the tones in the second cover. I also prefer the angle of the model's head; she looks as if she's lost in her own inner world.

Still, both covers are very well-designed, and make a great impact. Thanks for sharing!! : )
