Book Review: He's So Not Worth It by Kieran Scott

Summary: Summer is finally here for students at Orchard Hill, but it isn't starting off on the high note Ally Ryan thought it would be. After being humiliated in front of all of her classmates, Ally must choose between spending her summer with her mom and old best friends who now hate her, or living with her dad who just jumped back into her life after disappearing for the past two years. Oh, and all while doing so she has to avoid seeing the one person she wants to see the most yet can't after he completely betrayed her trust: Jake Graydon. He's So Not Worth It follows the summer of both Jake and Ally, including the insane roller coaster of the twisted relationships, drama, and lies of the Cresties and "normal" people of Orchard Hill.

Review: This book was absolutely AMAZING!!! Anyone who thinks any less of it is insane! Even though it took a while for this book to come out after She's So Dead to Us, it was TOTALLY worth the wait. The characters were as crazy, lovable, and annoying as ever (in a good way) that I found myself talking about them as if they were actually real people. The plot was incredible and ended with an INSANE cliffhanger that made my eyes literally bulge out of their sockets. Kieran Scott is one of my absolute favorite authors, so it's no surprise that this book was so good, but I still love the feeling of reading a book that I can't put down for anything (I was literally reading it everywhere I went). I actually felt like I was part of the story and there were always twists and turns in the plot that made it not boring, yet not too jumpy. I love everything about this series and CANNOT wait for the next book to come out. I will be counting down the days just so I can figure out what happens next to my new favorite characters (even if their relationship is so up and down), Ally and Jake! So seriously, if you haven't read any of Kieran Scott's books, you need to! You're missing out on some of the best books I have ever read! So read it now!!!

  1. I spotted this book at the bookstore but I didn't know it was a sequel to She's So Dead To Us! Urgh now I have to read the first book again to refresh my memory so I'll know what's going on in this one haha.

I love Kieran Scott too, she's definitely one of my favourite authors! But a cliffhanger ending!? Seriously!?!!? D:

  2. Yeah, I didn't reread the first book, so for the first 10 pages of this book I was a little confused on who was who, but Kieran Scott did a good job refreshing your memory if you didn't remember all that went before. But you should definitely read this one! It was so good!
